Discussions

Threaded discussions attached to any object, diagram, or dashboard. The slug stays /comments to match the API route, but the in-app label is "Discussions."

Discussions

The product surfaces this feature as Discussions in the sidebar (icon: MessageSquare); the URL is /comments for historical reasons. Both names point at the same threaded-conversation surface. The docs use Discussions to match the in-app label you’ll actually see.

Add threaded discussions to any object, diagram, or dashboard to collaborate with your team.

Starting a discussion

  1. Open an object, diagram, or dashboard.
  2. Go to the Discussions tab.
  3. Type your message in the input box.
  4. Click Post.

Threads

Discussions are threaded — reply to any post to start a thread. Threads collapse by default to keep the UI clean.

@mentions

Use @username in any message to notify that user. They receive an in-app notification and (if configured) an email.

Resolving threads

For review workflows, threads can be marked Resolved. Resolved threads are hidden from the default view but preserved in the audit log.
