Working with Objects
Creating an Object
- Go to Inventory
- Click + New Object (top-right)
- Select an Object Type
- Fill in the required fields (name is always required)
- Optionally set additional properties and assign an owner
- Click Save

⌘Nfrom anywhere in the app to open the New Object dialog.
Editing an Object
Click any object in the list to open its detail page. All editable fields are shown in the Overview tab. Click any field to edit inline, then click Save or press Escape to cancel.
Duplicating an Object
From the object detail page, click the Duplicate button in the top-right actions bar. A new object is created with the same type and properties; you can then modify before saving.
Deleting an Object
[!WARNING] Deleting an object also deletes all relationships attached to it. This cannot be undone.
- Open the object detail page
- Click the Delete button (top-right, trash icon)
- Confirm in the dialog
Bulk delete is available via multi-select in List View.
Object Lifecycle
Each object has a lifecycle status property:

|---|---|
concept | Proposed, not yet approved |
intended | Approved for future implementation |
current | Active in production |
preferred | Desired future state |
phaseout | Being retired |
retired | No longer in use |
Lifecycle values are used in reports and can drive diagram filtering.
