Applying Blueprints

Applying to Your Inventory

  1. Find a blueprint in the gallery
  2. Click Apply
  3. Choose a target project (where the objects will be imported)
  4. Review the object list and resolve any conflicts (objects with the same name already exist)
  5. Click Confirm Import

Conflict Resolution

If an object with the same name already exists, you have options:

  • Skip — Keep the existing object
  • Merge — Update the existing object with blueprint data
  • Duplicate — Import a new copy with a suffix (e.g., “SAP ERP (FHIR Blueprint)“)

Idempotent Reapplication

Reapplying the same blueprint to the same project is safe — DesignFoundry uses the object’s name as an idempotency key. Existing objects are updated, not duplicated.
